So,
Did you see the game?
No, I was working.
Plus, I have to be quite honest here, I have lost that loving feeling for football. I just don't get into it like I used to. Trey and I watched some Monday Night Football this year and that was fun but I don't think we ever watched a whole game. Neither of us really cared who won.
And, I don't think I could sit through a whole Superbowl's worth of commercials.
Today, I am operating on way too little sleep so you are going to get way little blog.
Yay!
Shuddup.
In fact, I'm just going to pass one news story on and something from yesterday's homework and then I'm going to see if my brain will function enough to do some more homework today. "Some" meaning not a whole lot because I'm pretty much brain-dead at this point.
And this is different, how?
Why I odda . . .
Here's something that should probably have the heading, "The Truth Must Be Avoided At All Costs."
Apparently, the US Air Force is going to start charging its employees and family members of those employees with espionageif they read anything from WikiLeaks. It seems that just the act of visiting WikiLeaks makes a person a spy. I'm not sure who they are spying for and I'm not sure how helpful of a spy they would be since everyone else on the planet has access to the exact same information.
Pssst. I have a secret for you. Just read it on WikiLeaks.
Obviously, arresting people for reading something that the whole planet has access to has nothing to do with trying to keep secrets from enemies.
Okay, I had to take a survey for my business class to see what kind of shopper I am. Here's what the results said about me:
"Strivers (apparently, I'm a Striver, whatever the hell that means) are trendy and fun loving. Because they are motivated by achievement, Strivers are concerned about the opinions and approval of others. Money defines success for Strivers, who don't have enough of it to meet their desires. They favor stylish products that emulate the purchases of people with greater material wealth. Many Strivers see themselves as having a job rather than a career, and a lack of skills and focus often prevents them from moving ahead.
"Strivers are active consumers (gawd, how I hate that word - makes it sound like I'm a locust) because shopping is both a social activity and an opportunity to demonstrate to peers their ability to buy. As consumers, they are as impulsive as their financial circumstance will allow."
I'm not sure how that could be any more wrong.
