Grand Funk Railroad and The Guess Who played here on Friday night. We figured it was going to be fairly low key. People in their 50s would probably behave themselves, right? We aren't talking about 21 year old women trying to consume all the daiquiris in town (who still hold the belt for being the most trouble at concerts).
Last week, we were warned that Lynyrd Skynyrd fans like to drink. If Skynyrd fans want to learn about drinking, they should hang out with Grand Funk and Guess Who fans.
Interestingly enough, once they left the concert, everything was quiet in the casinos. A lot of times, the drunks leave the concert and go to the casinos to get more drunk and then I get to meet them in their best form.
By the time the Guess Who stopped signing autographs, it was 12:30 am. Maybe that's past bedtime for the fans. I saw one of the biggest groups of drunks come into the casino and they were headed straight for their room. I was thankful for that because they were hammered at the concert.
