So,
The Virginia State Legislature has passed an interesting new law in response to the NDAA giving the president the "legal authority" to kidnap people and detain them for pissing off the 1% without ever filing any criminal charges against them. NDAA is such a blatant violation of the Bill of Rights that I've seen NDAA reported as the law that repealed the Bill of Rights. The Great and Powerful Oz has secured his place in future history books by undoing such a critical element in the foundation of the United States of America.
It shows too as the states become less and less united.
He needs four more years to finish the job.
His re-inauguration could be National Secession Day.
Virginia, while not able to directly void the unconstitutional law (which means that it's already null and void and will just be enforced through the use of overwhelming violence), did what they consider to be the next best thing.
They moved the state to Canada?
Canada's no better, eh.
Did you hear that Canada is going to build a military base in Germany?

Virginia passed a law making it illegal for anyone who pulls a paycheck from the State of Virginia to assist the federal government, in any way, with the unlawful detention of a Virginia citizen in violation of the Virginia Constitution. Obama may have tossed the US Constitution in the crapper but Virginia looks to be holding on to theirs, at least in this instance, and are holding it as preeminent to the kidnapping sections of NDAA.
Virginia's actions are important and play into the post on beliefs that I am hoping to write in the near future. I'm afraid that said post might be time consuming and I have homework to do. However, if I can get caught up, it will be next on the to-do list.
And while Virginia's new law is important and many are applauding it, I'm going to have to give it a golf clap when it comes to the directions given to the men and women of Virginia who have sworn an oath to protect and serve the citizen's of Virginia and uphold the Constitution. Do you know how frustrating it is for cops when someone could help but instead they chose to "not get involved"? How much more frustrating is it going to be when the goon squad starts kidnapping people and it's the police who don't want to get involved. It's like passing a law saying that cops aren't allowed to help murderers. First, you shouldn't have to pass such a law in the first place. Second, umm, hello?
It is a start though and there will be more state and local governments in the future that do the same thing. It may seem like irony but I think it's more about how humans are programmed. The more that the 1% try to control everything that people do, the more chaotic things are going to get.
Humans were not meant to be kept in cages.
