You'll have to bear with me while I try to figure this all out since I'm new to this whole blogging thing.
You may be asking, "SW, what's been going on?"
Or they might not.
I thought you might have gone away by now.
Well, I decided to repaint the interior of my house which, as it turns out, was a bigger task than I was expecting. It didn't help that as I went along, I added more projects, like installing a storm door and such. Plus, we had new carpet installed.
About 2 days into the painting, my motherboard gave up the ghost. That took a couple of weeks to get repaired, mostly because I was so busy that I didn't take much time out to get it taken care of until school loomed close on the horizon. I replaced a few things and upgraded software and then it took almost a week to get my stuff back on my hard drive.
Things needed to be tweaked and such and I didn't have time but I finally sat down last night and tried to get everything running correctly, or at least, well enough to do my school work (I've been using Tia's laptop) and my blog (which, in case you didn't notice, I haven't been doing at all).
For those that were following along at home with the philosophy stuff, I aced the final but it was an intriguing grade. There were 3 questions, each worth 33 points, of which, I received the maximum amount of points possible, and when I checked my grade, I had received 99/100. Is this some kind of philosophical puzzle or something?
Anyway, I have to switch gears now, which is why I spent all night last night and a couple of hours this morning getting my computer functional. My last test score was pathetic. Completely unacceptable. It was late and I was tired and in a hurry and I made some careless mistakes. It's time to rein way back on the house projects until the next school break and get my mind into the game.
Except, right now, I have to go clean out my garage at least enough so that I can teach karate tonight. I don't think we've had class since I started the big "Pimp My House" project. I've been using it to hold stuff so that I could paint and put down carpet. Pretty much the entire house was in there a couple of weeks ago. Most of that stuff is back where it belongs but there are still things out there that need to find a home along with tools and paint cans laying about, resting after a hard month of work. They don't have to jump into school so they get to just kick it for a while.
And now you're all caught up (at least that's what I'm telling myself so I can start making some space on the mats).
